"Fantastic food. You got to try their ribs. The best I ever had. Smokie clare broil flavor and large portions. Their baked beans with pulled pork was delicious. If you are ever in the Marystown Burin area you have to check this place out. That's not to mention the staff. They were awesome. Friendliness people you would ever want as servers. Thanks for making our first visit so awesome. We'll be back."

"Myself and a coworker came here while staying in Marystown for business. We were told by many people that Admirals Galley AKA The Keg, as the locals call it was the best place to eat. We walked in and sat down at a booth, as there was no wait to be seated sign. There were some plates on our table from the previous customers so we asked one of the waitresses if it was okay to sit there, she said yes and that she would be back momentarily to remove the plates and wash the table for us. There was a table of six nearby and we heard the waitresses complain that we had just sat in the booth that her customers were waiting for, that being said, this was the same waitress that we had asked if it was okay to sit in this spot. We felt as though a few of the waitresses had very cold attitudes towards us after this. Our waitress came over and asked how our meals were, as the dirty plates were still on our table, we informed her that we had not eaten yet and that one of the other waitresses had told us she'd be back shortly to clean up the table. She apologized and cleaned the table and took our orders. I had the sampler platter and chicken sandwich and my coworker had the half nachos and sampler platter. While the mozza sticks, fries and gravy were excellent, the onion rings seemed under cooked, as the batter was still gooey, my chicken burger was very lackluster and I unfortunately could not finish my meal. Our waitress was very kind and attentive, which is always a plus! She had accidentally spilled some sauce on my coworkers dress pants and apologized, accidents do happen, so it was no big issue. I really wanted to enjoy the meal I had at Admiral's Galley but the coldness we received from most of the waitresses made in a very negative experience, plus the food was not 100% satisfactory."

"I do not know what the food at this restaurant is actually like. On May 8, 2016 myself and my wife had reservations at this restaurant for 5 PM. We were there on time and seated shortly after arriving. We were given the menu as we were seated and ordered refreshments. Our order was taken at this time. We waited at the table for over and hour without seeing our waitress and watched as others in the dining room were served. As these customers would leave others came in. These people started getting served as we sat and watched. I asked when we would be served and was told another 5 min. We sat another 15 min. and watched the customers that arrived after us get served so after 1 1/2 hrs waiting we left and paid for the refreshments. We will never visit again."
