"My Husband and I visited this wonderful little place in Surfers Paradise,what a hidden Gem The food was excellent, the service was outstanding our host was Nick very professional young man so attentive and very charming explaing in detail the dishes we were going to have. The menu is fresh and innovating catering for vegetarians. The ambiance very quirky reminisant of cafe/bars in Melbourne.We felt very special while we were there thankyou Black Coffee Lyrics for a wonderful dinning experience."

"Ordered wagyu omakase(not a real omakase btw), took more than 2 hours for everything to arrive tho waitstaff told us that was gonna take 30 mins and so. Food wise, tasted above average but not worth the wait time. Food portion was really weird. Waiter was rude, dropped hot plate at the side without informing us. Have us to move the hot plate ourself, dint even explain to us what was being served. Was told that kitchen is closing and we haven't even get our food. Really disappointing. Overall very bad experiences, would not come back."

"Jimmy Wahs was amazing! Every single dish was incredible, this was our first place to stop after arriving in the Gold Coast and we were amazed. The staff are super friendly, as soon as the food arrived we were amazed. Our highlight dish would of had to have been the Smoked Ocean Trout with the prawn crackers on the side it complimented the dish so well. We were amazed by the flavours here! I would highly recommend you check this place out!"
