"My Husband and I visited this wonderful little place in Surfers Paradise,what a hidden Gem The food was excellent, the service was outstanding our host was Nick very professional young man so attentive and very charming explaing in detail the dishes we were going to have. The menu is fresh and innovating catering for vegetarians. The ambiance very quirky reminisant of cafe/bars in Melbourne.We felt very special while we were there thankyou Black Coffee Lyrics for a wonderful dinning experience."

"For people who do not often come to such places, it was a great culinary experience. We chose the $85 banquet style menu and found everything was amazing... so many flavors and spicy flavors. The Duck Curry was fantastic. Our waiter was brilliant that he always asked how we liked the dishes and it was for our joy."

"Crispy, thin breadcrumbs for delicious bara fish, calamari and sea scallops. Great little cafe, with some hard working staff for Good Service. What I love is plenty of fresh lemon and they never scrimp on that."

"We frequent Mike's kitchen whenever we wanted to eat bbq ribs in the GC. We have tried other places but find it still the best restaurant for ribs. The only problem we had this time was the level of noise which was rather unpleasant."
