Love going to the Sidewalk Cafe for the best Eggs Benedict ever and always get another selection and share. We love the outdoorsy feel and appreciate that they even bring out a water bowl for our thirsty pup without being asked. It has a great atmosphere and we always have a good laugh with Mandy. Just wish we could get there more often but we go when we can. Our favorite breakfast cafe!!! View all feedback.
What User doesn't like about The Sidewalk Cafe & Garden:
We went to this cafe to grab a nice coffee. The seating and location was lovely, However, the service left much to be desired. We waited for over 30 minutes for two cups of coffee. So we asked the barista if we could have take-away instead. 15mins after we asked this he brought out one of our coffees in a "have here" cup. We asked AGAIN if we could have it in a take away cup. He obliged and said he would be right bac... View all feedback.
This was a favourite of mine for Sunday breakfast. Unfortunately it has closed down. A pizza place has taken it's place.
Unfortunately this cafe is no longer. For the space, I always thought the cafes potential was never really realised. A pity. I enjoyed a quiet coffee there
Great food Teriffic little location off main st. So noise from road. Lovely feel to place and staff freindly
This cafe closed down recently and the locals are all waiting to see a new happy place to visit. We're after great food and service with a smile. Bring it on.
Being tucked away behind shops, this is one of those places where the street view doesn't do it justice. The first impression you get when you walk in is one of pleasantness. It is lovely and open, but also has an inside area where you can enjoy a little more privacy. The staff are very friendly and make you feel very welcome. The view of the garden is beautiful and sets a very tranquil atmosphere. The choice of food is good too....not too much to try and choose from. We were there for breakfast and had the Egg and Bacon Roll, plus Eggs Benedict. It was all cooked to perfection and both meals were delicious....and didn't cost a fortune. The coffee too was was lovely. What was also nice was the "family atmosphere". Mums and Dads who had young children could sit at tables in the garden and watch the kids play. This is definitely a "hidden treasure", and we would highly recommend this cafe to anyone!
