Guthrie's - Burlington

We were sick of the same ol restaurants in our area, so we drove to Burlington and decided to pick Guthrie’s while we were there. The first time to order Guthrie ever and it has not disappointed! The chicken strips are very tasteful, not slander like many other restaurants chicken strips. The Cole Slav was delicious and the Texas Toast. And the Guthries sauce, soooo good! I am glad that we were burned at our local restaurants and drove the few miles to Burlington, we will definitely order more Guthries again soon! And the staff was very patient and friendly. Fast, friendly service and great food. Can't go wrong!

This time little was disappointed. We go weekly and it's always fresh. Today 2/1/22 chicken warned at best. Friends seemed like they were fried twice. Hopefully this is not the new normality.

It was stopped for lunch today and was not disappointed. Chicken fingers were good size, crispy and hot, the frits are big, hot and crispy also, plum was fine, the toast was really good and the Cluck Sauce was not as tender as the guys down on the street. Sad to see a drink didn't come with the meal.

The best chicken fingers are available everywhere. As good as the Tuscaloosa Guthrie. The sauce is good with the chicken and the frits.

Been over 20 years since Guthries was a staple in my diet back in Athens, GA. Had it again and everything was still as I remembered. The sauce is where it's at!
