I went to the pie place for the first time tonight. the owner, jamie, took the time to chat with me for likely 15-20 minutes. very nice guy! I bought 5 hearty cakes, and he threw one free. tonight I baked the steak and cheesecake. follow the directions to make an egg wash up, bake and let it sit for 15 minutes before eating. the first bite I took, I literally said “Oh my God!” this is literally the best cake I have e... Maybe we have a bad apple cake? because what we have was dry, dry, dry, inside and outside!
