After a long day of exploring beaches and hiking on trails we were hungry and tired My fellow Yelpers were spot on with their reviews of Shirley's.

This place rocks! We pulled up with 30 people and they smiled, welcomed and rocked out 30 orders all while their locals mingled.

We were looking for a nice place to stop for a quick lunch that was local not a chain but that also had affordable, delicious food.

"If I could give this zero stars I would. Breakfast was very bland, sausage tasted like it was reheated from prepackaged, eggs were dry, pancake seemed like just a pancake mix, and the “pan fried” potatoes were probably just microwaved. Restaurant was far from clean, the sticky floors and horror show fridge/storage room when we walked in should’ve been the sign for us to turn around and leave. Coffee was underwhelming but the toast was decent."

"We arrived at 1 pm on a Monday and lucked into a table for two out doors. Both ordered the 1 piece fish and chips. Chips are fresh cut, fish is fresh and both with a perfect golden cook.Service fast and friendly.Great spot, highly recommend."

"Our bed and breakfast recommended us this place. we arrived at 18;45 clock and we sat with a smile. this place is guided by a man and a woman. the moskito mojito and it was fabulous, followed by the humus as...appetizer I had the curry huhn that was delicious and a huge portion that I could not finish. my friend had the hamburger she loved. Rhubarb crisis for dessert was perfect. the musician tonight was jenna barry, very talented with a great vote. next time I'm in pei, I'll go back there."

"OMG! My family group of 8 had the most delicious supper there on August 29, 2014. The best seafood chowder in Montague! Awesome mussels! The haddock was so tender and lightly breaded...yummy! Customer service was impeccable! Warm, friendly and fun staff members and owner! This is a gem of a place to eat. A definite must eat! Thank you so much for such a fabulous meal and evening! It was a great welcome to Montague with a spectacular view of the water! Will definitely return! Cheers!"
