I had arranged a visit, with friends, to Burnley Town Hall which was very interesting and 12 of us dined at the Brun Lea. We had a variety of different meals which were enjoyed, but my husband and myself had our usual Chicken Club Day favourite of Spicy Chicken Wings served with Chips, coleslaw and a choice of sauce. I reviewed this restaurant a few years ago, and we normally have a good time when we visit. However, today for our anniversary, we went on curry day and it was quite disappointing. Some of the chicken was tough, and I believe they were understaffed. The server who brought our meal was friendly, but the woman at the bar was rather curt with me when I placed my order.
