"It had been a few years since we were in Zocalo, but it was as good as we remembered it to be. There were still some favorites on the menu, but also some new dishes, and they didn't disappoint. This is the only menu among many in Charlottesville that is really different and exciting. I had the duck breast cooked perfectly and accompanied by a great sauce, braised chard and an onion manchego bread pudding, and my wife loved her salmon. My starter, the tuna tartar, was too heavenly and had a healthy kick. Highly recommended!"

"The seat was fast, the waitress was beautiful and attentive. I ordered the fish Tacos exciting. My food came out pretty fast. Sweet potato fries were hot and fresh. The fish taco were good, but a little spice was missing or more of the orange sauce would have been nice. But overall, I would recommend this place to have a drink and some bar food. It was a beautiful experience. Thank you."

"Everything was perfect! In my opinion, the rib tips, chicken wings, Mac and cheese and the monster beans are dying. Good portions too. I would recommend this restaurant to everyone. The staff was polite and my order was ready in 15 minutes. Great job Doc Watson!"
