What Patricia Bell doesn't like about Bake&take:
Most of the staff are brilliant but the one on the till with the dark hair face full of make-up is the one of the rudest people i have ever come accross....i went in with my elderly parents she made them feel rushed.. inadequate....i suggest she goes on a course to improve her customer service approach....we will not be returning!!! read more.

"We all had chips/chips and gravy as in a rush. Gravy was ok, bog standard English chippy gravy, portions were very generous, but the chips were dreadful tasteless, dry, rock hard and poorly prepared with eyes and skin. We chomped our way through them, those without the gravy desperately dipping chips in the others trays to save their teeth. So disappointed having read the reviews we were expecting crispy, fluffy, melt in the mouth chips! We normally go to Hills (Middleton), another well regarded chippy we've never been disappointed there. I don't understand all the positive reviews, look at my picture (and my wife doesn't pick the bad ones out, that's just what she couldn't eat) maybe thay had a bad day but that's a poor excuse, first and last visit for us I'm afraid."
