Simister is such a traditional, beautiful looking village, yet despite its surroundings and picturesque views, this pub is below par on lots of levels. It looks tired and dated, cluttered and mismatched in its decor and furniture and the beer garden is lacking in colour that could easily be added by plants and foliage. Food not that good today i would rather have a sandwich done well Just do the simple things well sorry we wont be comming back
Lovely food at fantastic prices. Service marked down just because they were short staffed at the time but they were very helpful.
