Our favourite takeaway. You won’t regret ordering from here, one of the best in Bury! Always super tasty, staff are friendly, deliveries are quick. They also have a points scheme if you are a regular customer. Would highly recommend! Only criticism is that you don’t have a restaurant and sometimes the lamb is a little tough but otherwise it is amazing!! View all feedback.

What 924gavinf doesn't like about Taste Of India:
Very disappointed considering the good reviews. Had the full mixed kebab. Not alot of meat apart from a tonne of anaemic donnor. What little meat was there is cheap packet stuff. It was like scraps. Very poor quality. It's not hard for me to say this was the worst kebab I've ever had. Thrown in the bin after a few tastes View all feedback.

Amazing food. No other Indian ever tastes the same. Delivery is always on time. Chicken tikka madras is the best.

"Bit deflated after looking forward to the visit for so long. After booking well in advance for lunchtime and reading reviews we were excited to go. Cheese cheese cheese what’s not to love. Then we saw Raclette on the menu and imagined the melted raclette slab and slicing melting cheese and crusty bread with a chilli jam pot. To start we thought olives x3 to share whilst we chatted waiting for the Raclette and crusty warm bread. After all were in Ramsbottom with lots of local shops to supply. First we were asked if we wanted our starter before our mains or with our mains ! But just thought maybe that’s a thing with cheese, so declined and said we’d have it first please. Then Raclette came and it was baked Camembert. Gutted. But I like baked Camembert and we were hungry. Then the kicker the crusty hot bread was those par baked rolls you buy from the long life shelf. And I know they were as i used them during lockdown as an emergency. The jam was lovely. We were just a bit deflated. I later checked the website and the photos of the baked Camembert does show the par baked rolls. But as we walked back to the car we passed the most amazing bread shop and I just thought “why par baked when this is on your door step”. And just say baked Camembert. The place itself is cute and comfortable/ inviting."

"We all had chips/chips and gravy as in a rush. Gravy was ok, bog standard English chippy gravy, portions were very generous, but the chips were dreadful tasteless, dry, rock hard and poorly prepared with eyes and skin. We chomped our way through them, those without the gravy desperately dipping chips in the others trays to save their teeth. So disappointed having read the reviews we were expecting crispy, fluffy, melt in the mouth chips! We normally go to Hills (Middleton), another well regarded chippy we've never been disappointed there. I don't understand all the positive reviews, look at my picture (and my wife doesn't pick the bad ones out, that's just what she couldn't eat) maybe thay had a bad day but that's a poor excuse, first and last visit for us I'm afraid."
