We were really looking forward to dining here on Sunday. The staff were helpful and friendly. Unfortunately the food didn’t live up to expectations. The soup was spoilt by the overpowering taste of sage and the bread was a little stale though warm. The main was spoilt by cold chips and a lukewarm grilled steak. Lovely old character pub. The Sunday menu was generous, maybe have a small serve option? All in all a great late lunch, thanks all!
The roast turkey sandwich was a bit lacking in turkey. The lambs liver, however, looked very good.

The menu of the restaurant is also suitable for vegetarians, as there are menus that entirely abstain from meat, moreover there is a large selection of vegan menus in the menu. They offer you a selection of gluten-free entrees as well.
