"After spending almost the whole day at Metrobank, I needed something to keep me going. Gold 'n Pearl was the first one on the search list and the closest. I ordered their Hershey 's Dark Mocha Frappe. I like that I forgot to ask to make it less sweet but it was still served less sweet anyway. But I felt the coffee flavor was overwhelmed by the ice... there was just too much ice and less coffee. The whipped cream as well lacked hardness and flavor. In addition to the frappe, I tried their Blueberry Cheesecake. Though it was good, I still thought it wasn 't worth the price. The service was too small. It was whipped as I what I have observed, so they could have made the portions bigger since it 's air-filled anyway. They should also fix their tables. The one I used wobbled and I almost spilled everything on my table."

"Im supposed to give this hotel a 4 star but my husband and I got really disappointed regarding their service of the free breakfast. It took them almost 30 minutes to serve our meal. Other guests who came after us were served first! Standard room is 1100 pesos with Pros: free breakfast, wifi, soap and shampoo and TV. Very big room space and free drinking water outside the room. I want to give credit to the receptionist for being kind. Cons: Telephone is not working. There's no tissue! (That tissue in the cr in the picture attached was mine) Imagined a comfort room without a tissue?! and no pail and no dipper? it's okay to have no pail and dipper if there's a hose connected to the bowl like other hotels or in some offices but there's none here. Shower head water flow is very slow. When I brush my teeth in the cr, water taste different. I guess thats the reason why they had a water dispenser outside. And lastly, I killed a cockroach in our room."

"Clean and fast. Typical food for a McDonald's but be prepared for a wait if you want an hamburger as the standard fare in the Philippines is chicken and rice and this is the normal menu here too. I agree with another post here, there...are plenty of more traditional restaurants in the area, perhaps not as clean but, as the saying goes, when in Rome do as the Romans do. Why travel to another country just to eat McDonald's?. Be prepared for people begging for food. Sometimes they watch through the window and stare at you. It can be a bit off putting but I fear many of them are genuinely hungry. We sometimes give our left overs to them and they share it around their family. There is a nice family that sell souvenirs outside to raise a bit of money. Help them out if you can and say hello from Charles."

"Were it not for the one review before mine I would not have found this hidden gem. I had the Lime Baked Dory Fish and it was lami. It came with rice and salad with a sweet mango dressing. Great food, great price."

"Coldest beer in town. Awesome submarine sandwiches. Roast beef with mashed potatoes. Attentive wait staff."
