Our first trip to the OBX. Prefer to eat at local Mom and Pop restaurants. This place did not disappoint. Even in off season there was a line to get in by 4:30pm. Opens at 5pm. We sat at the bar. Maggie was WONDERFUL! Her mom, the chef, has AMAZING recipes. Cabbage casserole? I ate mine and some of my husbands, flounder and hush puppies were not only dinner but lunch the next day. It is not worth it whatsoever it has been recommended by so many people but these people have a terrible sense of taste. I got the calamari and it is terrible it is slimey and the second I swallowed it I almost picked right then and there places like dirty dicks have far better food. View all feedback.
very good food. very friendly staff. our waiter jordan was right. well, eating was lovely!
