"Sur réservation de préférence le samedi soir. L'accueil est très convivial et le personnel est à l'écoute des clients et serviable même si la salle est comblée. La cuisine proposée est simple, traditionnelle avec de bons produits du terroir. L'entrecôte de boeuf (copieuse) avec des frites maison - cuisson maîtrisée au top. Le dessert fraise melba (une coupe) également très copieuse et délicieuse. Je recommande cet établissement avec un plus - pas cher!!!!"

"We ate here on recommendation and looking at the menu we were expecting great things. We were shown to our outside terrace table by a sullen waitress. To be honest the courtyard had seen better days the table cloths were all sun eaten and...the overgrown trees had dropped leaves onto the table. This was not cleared away. Our French is not brilliant but we try however the waitress was obviously not pleased and made no attempt to slow down and let us understand her. We ordered our starters and main courses and she then demanded an order for desserts. We replied that we were not sure if we would have dessert and could we order when we had eaten our meal. She said NO, it would be too busy by then so we had to order now or we couldn 't have dessert! This seemed very unproffessional so we said then no we would not order dessert. We were given some stale toast and tuna pate as a complimentary appetiser. I had a very odd cheese shortbread with dry veg for a starter which I would not order again! Husband and daughter had pastry wrapped prawns which were ok but nothing special. We were given a lentil amuse bouche which was best part of the meal. My daughter had a chicken main course which she enjoyed, husband had a fish main course which was a really small portion and I had ordered a steak. We had tried to order moyen medium but waitress couldn 't understand me so when it came out it was bleu and had to be sent back. When it came back a second time it was ok but again nothing special just ok. A different waiter cleared our main course as by this time the restaurant had a few more tables. He asked if we would like to order dessert but by this time we had had enough I said we 'd been told we couldn 't have dessert by his colleague. We got some complimentary caramelised nuts with the bill. I felt they were trying to be something with the additional complimentary items but not living up to it with the actual food and service. Overall very disappointing and I would not recommend."

"It is rare to find restaurants that accept customers after 1 p.m. without reservation and yet this is certainly the case with La Guinguette!! Very warm welcome, it’s a pleasure. Large indoor restaurant room with possibility of large tables. Smiling and fast service, a little disappointed by the quantity served of the sauerkraut dish of the day and potatoes but correct. Good feedback on the duck breast and the delicious and well-seasoned goat cheese salads. A good address to try again in summer."

"We ate there with my wife for the first time this evening. From the welcome, to the decoration and especially the meal, everything was truly incredible! We had a great time and the meal was delicious! I have never eaten such a tender and tasty piece of beef! We really appreciated the fact that the chef served us and spent a little time talking with us and the other customers. An address that we will repeat with our eyes closed, and it is certain that we will return Meal type: Dinner Price per person: €60–70 Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5"
