"I was heavily let down after having dinner here on February 11th. My partner and I have eaten at Cielo for years and have always loved the food. However, that night was a completely different experience. We were celebrating our Valentine's Day and we wish we went elsewhere. This review is only for the food because everything else in the restaurant is still amazing. With that being said I will never return here unless they bring back flavor to their food like they had in the past. We had the Crab Cake to start and we noticed the aioli was different. It lacked flavor and wasn't what it used to be. The previous avocado aioli was amazing. We then ordered Shrimp Scampi which lacked sooo much flavor. We also ordered an 11oz Filet Mignon which was a huge disappointment. Like all of the food it lacked flavor. I ordered it medium rare and it was more like a medium well. We enhanced the steak with the day boat scallops and shrimp. Those two items changed as well and were in an interesting sauce that had no flavor and was very thick. The shrimp lacked the most flavor out of all of our food. The tastiest item was the smothered mushrooms and onions. The Mac n Cheese was ok. We didn't bother ordering dessert. We were very sad that so much of the food had changed. We were sat on time, our server was great she was very attentive and friendly, and the pianist created a warm ambience. Our bill was $270 (without tip) and we wish we took our money elsewhere. I would no longer recommend Cielo to anyone until they bring flavor back. I hope this review is helpful."
