La Casa Del Peregrino - Cáceres

A number of reviews seem to confuse the La Casa del Peregino with the longer established Casa del Peregrino GH which is at the entrance to the village whilst La Casa del Peregrino (the Alburgue with the swimming pool) is found as you leave the village. Pleasant room with a baxlcony and good sized bathroom. Friendly staff. The confirmed rate of €50 is ok but may be a little high for this quiet village which now has the big new alburgue as competition. Either way, it was very significantly less than I paid Greenlife Tours t/as CaminoWays for the accommodation. Did not have any poor experience with staff and a simple breakfast was available, as requested, at 7:30am. Wifi good.

A top place to stay after a long day Hiking. Excelent facilities at a very cheap prices, great swiminpool and beautiful views, would have stayed an extra night but my schedule did not allow

Didn't get to stay here but did visit for evening menú del día. Excellent asparagus with jamon, then rabbit with almond sauce. Homemade cheesecake to finish was also great.

Walking from Rabanal it was really great to arrive in beautiful Acebo at the great and modern Albergue/Hostel La Casa del Peregrino!! Good service, nice food, great rooms with good standard we will really recommend this place

Stayed here after a hard few weeks on the camino, clean, rustic yet mordern and comfortable. The evening meal was a welcome change to the usual pilgrim menu and one of the best we have had.
