I enjoyed a dinner at La Goutte d'Eau while spending a week in Haut-de-Cagnes with friends. This intimate restaurant with outstanding home cooking is in the heart of the charming medieval village. For my dinner, I enjoyed a duck pate followed by the best mussels in a white wine sauce that I've ever had. For dessert, I ordered a nougat glace (almost like a semi freddo) with raspberry coulis. This restaurant has about 16 places, and it is advisable to book. It is a one-man band with the owner cooking, serving, washing-up, etc. Quite fascinating to watch how he does it all. Food is good and very reasonably priced as is the wine. Well worth a visit if you want a good, basic meal. We would go back. View all feedback.
