This restaurant is amazing. Our large group didn't have a reservation, but the staff was always helpful. The restaurant is very clean, has a lovely atmosphere, and the food is delicious and beautifully presented. My favorites were the eye fillet, salmon, and pork ribs. What Tyshawn Pagac doesn't like about Boatshed:
Went for lunch on Saturday and 5 of us enjoyed grazing on the share plates as the hours passed. Calamari,soft shell crab,patatas bravos,chorizo etc all great.We had an issue with an order during the day that was lost and not ordered. Unfortunately the guy in charge,(or I hope not for their sake) didn't handle our enquiry well at all. He kept saying he was trying his best instead of actually sorting this out.Eventuall... So happy to stumble across the Boatshed on our mission for great beer and food for our Sunday sesh! Absolutely loved the $10 sharing menu and $6 beer specials accompanied with one of the best views of the water in Cairns. Staff were really nice and although we didn’t have a reservation the manager was able to squeeze us in and then upgrade us to a bigger table when our friends wanted to meet us. Will definitely be back!
We visited this restaurant for happy hour and ended up trying some delicious small bites/tapas, much to our delight! We were disappointed that we didn't have the chance to return for one more visit during our time in Cairns. It's a great spot to relax and enjoy the waterfront view.
We had a wonderful lunch and everyone enjoyed their meals. The staff was friendly, cheerful, and very accommodating. I would highly recommend this restaurant.
This was my second visit and enjoyed it just as much as the first. Great value lunch, $35 for 2 courses including a drink. Lots of choices. Lovely staff providing good service.
Just dropped in here for a nice coffee after a long meander around Cairns. Very nice location, faces the water, getting a nice cool breeze on a warm day. Coffee was great. And the spaces were very welcoming . Plenty of indoor and covered outdoor seating. And staff were very friendly.
