"We chose Splash for our dinner choice and we were not disappointed had one of the best meals ever. My coral trout was cooked for perfection and the polnta and spinach was on site. My husband was also tied over his main course, and our common sticky date pudding was divine. The staff was friendly and the venue allowed us to observe the activity on the Esplanade. Absolutely amazing and I would definitely go back here."

"Basically two vegan crepe options: sweet or hearty, with the sweet offer a simple but effective combination of banana and maple syrup. I didn't have it either, but I enjoyed my Turkish toastia with cashew cheese and truffle oil. the waitress had to check if the toastie is actually vegan. it turns out that they usually put butter on them, but they are on my request. I'll be back safely, and next time I'll try a crepe. the garden seat is great! a uniform mixture of shade and sun."

"Great food, including eclectic Indian-Chinese staples like Chilli Paneer. Friendly chef and owner willing to flex to make his customers happy with twists like adding chilli to the naans and packing off-menu katti rolls for us to take away on our long haul flight. He promised us that we would remember him for how good they would be - true to his word, they were awesome and we saved them for a day after to eat cold (like pizza!). Thanks Chef - we'll recommend your place to all our friends who plan to visit Cairns."

"Cairns Burger Cafe has a few tables inside and covered tables outside. The welcome was very friendly, the explanation of the menu quick, and the excellent milk shakes came in no time.We chose different burgers, they all looked and tasted great. The fries were very good, too, and the different sauces were a nice add-on."

"My family celebrated my birthday at Tamarind and we had a fabulous time! All the dishes were sensational, I particularly enjoyed the baby barramundi which is served upright on the plate with a delicious tamarind sauce. The sides were very generous portions and all yummy. The most excellent part though was the service! The staff were friendly, attentive and went above and beyond in their interactions. I have no hesitation recommending this restaurant to people enjoying a romantic date or a larger celebration like ours."
