First, Atherton is not what you call a tourist destination, it is a lovely rural town that is small, quiet and the hub of the Atherton Tablelands farming commun...

Spider floats and truffle fries. Cheap quick snacks with a decent view. Gourmet burgers as well with self order machines accepting credit card.

Hotel was ok, but smelt a bit musty and I found 2 dead cockroaches in the bathroom. Oh well, at least they were dead I guess! I really like Atherton as a town b...

"I was expecting more from the reviews, however was dissappointed with the quality of food. Ordered the chicken skewers, spring rolls, Nasi goreng and Chicken Rendang Ayam. Food came out super fast, however tasted like it had just been warmed up in the microwave and flavours not very authentic/nice (having been to many Indonesian eateries). The Nasi Goreng was very peppery which is all you could taste. The Rendang watery and chicken texture wasn’t very fresh. Chicken skewers were drowned in some type of satay sauce which the chicken was barely warm and not hot as you would normally expect. Hopefully it was just our luck on the day, however we won’t be dining here again."

"I found this burger disgusting. The tomato sauce had too much vinegar, the cheese was cold and not melted, and the patty (Impossible burger) was not nice either. The chips and onion rings were burnt and cold."
