A fun culinary experience for our team during travel. They treated our large group efficiently, and they have a large dining area. The restaurant is uniquely decorated and not something you will find anywhere. The food is good, although it is usually roasted food that will sit strong on your stomach. Mr. Chick is worth a visit. What Connie Poppell doesn't like about Mr. Chick:
$65 for lunch for 3 people, charged for things I was told I would not be when I ordered. Then when I said something about it, not only was that employee rude and argued, they sent out the manager, who was much worse. No apology for the lies, very nasty attitude, and only offer was to take the food away. He agreed they have no competition and can treat people however they want, and are packed with customers always. His words. Jerk. I hadn't been there in a couple of years, but was basically let know that they don't need our business, nor care if they have it. Plus dirty tables must be cleaned by customers if you want to sit at a clean table. Not only did I have to clean ours, I never saw any employees cleaning tables, wiping down between parties.
