Went in today, went up to the counter to order, waited and waited, one of the staff looked at me never spoke and ignored me, so did the woman collecting plates from tables when she came back to counter, so we walked out. Very disappointed, someone could have spoke and mentioned they would be with me in a minute as they were doing other things but just not speak, very bad. They can't want any business. "Perhaps it was a bad day but neither of us thought this was very good, certainly not excellent. The service of the waitresses could not be faulted, the drinks and bread and butter arrived very quickly but we seemed to wait a long time for...our haddock and chips, not their fault. The fish was not as good as some we have had recently from other places and the batter was a little thick and not as crispy as we would have liked. It was very hot, which was a plus point."
