"Menu at 22€ with input/plat /dessert. We tasted wild boar terrine, cannellonis and grilled fish. The two dishes were very good. For dessert we took Corsica cheese. It's very good, the nice welcome for this one served us, but another young man looked closed and not smiling. We need the health pass. Clean toilets but water hunting is very little. Well placed near the citadel. Fresh rosé glass"

"We Visited this restaurant after it was recommended by our hotelier in Ponte Leccia. It was described as one of the best in the Asco valley and it was certainly one of the best meals we had in our 2 weeks in Corsica. It is a family run restaurant, with one simple menu. You can either have all the courses for 25 euros or choose the small menu with 3 of the above dishes at 19 euros. Between the 4 of us we sampled everything from super light and delicious brociu beignets (sort of savoury donuts), Corsican charcuterie, veal casserole, brociu lasagnes, flan, cheese and fruits. We ate outside under the vine covered terrasse and our waitress, the granddaughter of the cook was absolutely lovely. If you are after an authentic restaurant away from the many ostentatious and disappointing restaurants found in the coastal resorts, do visit Chez Jacqueline. You won't be disappointed."
