We were looking for a place to have a light lunch in Halifax town centre, did not want a big meal, but wanted something more than cake and coffee, and wanted to sit inside. We spotted this cafe and decided to try it. You order your food at the counter, which is not clear when you enter, but is indicated on the menu. Our first visit to this establishment, we had 2 small breakfasts. After a extremely long wait they arrived, obviously cooked to order. They were delicious well worth the wait. Lovely surroundings, friendly staff. Would have been 5 star had it not been for the fact our waitress was wearing false nails. A definite NO when working with food.
