very nice and cozy, well maintained, absolutely of my goto. I ate things not easy to find, meatballs, spaghetti with fegatini, anchovies and lime.... good and cooked dishes very well and as if not enough nice portions. impeccable, kind and very fine staff in the presence. a place to return. This was a great meal in great surroundings. Fantastic food with emphasis on the local with a modern take. Great service. Beautiful gardens, a few minutes from Calenzano , but a world away. Entrees were innovative, the first courses , beautiful pastas , second course good and deserts again great. Best coffee, for me a Brazilian beans, that I have had in years!
On a sunny Saturday in central Florence, it's easy to be overwhelmed by the crowds lining up at virtually every sandwiche shop or ristorante. How wonderful to find this little spot tucked away like on the Via Dei Neri, offering a full menu of not just pizzas but lovely salads. Add a glass of vino bianco and a double expresso, and you are ready to hit the crowds again and head for the Duomo!
We were staying a few hundred meters away, and were recommended to try Cocciopesto. We are so glad that we did, and we're going again tomorrow! A compact menu of fresh and local ingredients, skillfully combined to make you want to try everything! Delightfully friendly staff, attentive service, and reasonably priced! Thank you!
