The lunch special is great value for your money. It varies in sandwich options but comes with soup or salad and they send you on your way with a brown bag that includes 2 freshly baked chocolate chip cookies. View all feedback.

read moreA recent experience dining at Charcut in Calgary left a group of diners feeling severely disappointed. From a seemingly disorganized and inattentive staff to multiple instances of being out of certain food and drink items, the evening was marred by a series of mishaps. One guest commented that the bone marrow and cheese bread, while tasty, was a bit lacking in portion size. Another highlighted the underwhelming quality of the steak, which they hoped would have been seasoned better. However, not all reviews were negative, with some diners praising the ambiance, service, and flavors of dishes like the pork chop and lamb shank. Overall, opinions varied widely, with some declaring they would never return while others found the overall experience to be enjoyable. The restaurant's ownership by acclaimed chefs adds an element of prestige, though there were mixed feelings about the changes to the menu. Ultimately, Charcut seems to be a place where personal taste and expectations greatly influence one's dining experience.
