"Don't even think about it. Jump in your car and come on over ASAP. Hands-down this is the best shawarma in Calgary. All the meats are Charcoal roasted and Pitas are made fresh all day long. If you love quality and awesome food this is your new favourite. Don't forget to order the zaatar fries."

"Best cakes I've ever had, everytime I have gotten one for an event everyone raves over how beautiful AND delicious it is.The staff are incredibly great to deal with, going above and beyond to make sure everything is what you want it. "This sushi is delicious and meticulously crafted. The team at Big Catch apply the Aburi technique of searing the sushi, creating something new and exciting when it comes to traditional Japanese fair. The presentation, and the food was filling, and I enjoyed the shiro rice that uses a red vinegar in its composition. Looking forward to my next dish from here!"

"It's hard to say whether this place is good or bad simply because it was my first time having a gluten free pizza. The different pizzas here are certainly unique, but we ultimately won't be going back because we didn't enjoy the dough."

"We had a lovely evening at the Begim restaurant. The service was very welcoming and friendly. The Uzbek food was really interesting - e.g. pumpkin stuffed pastry, potatoes in a light pastry, an amazing salad with a hint of pickles, lamb pilaf. It was really delicious. We loved the Begim cake for dessert. All the food was made there. We definitely plan to return soon."

"Coffee great, Hot Chocolate in the words of my 7 year old, nasty When we took it back to let them know how nasty it was, the cheeky fellow behind the counter basically said this is the way its supposed to be. Nasty bitter to the bone hot chocolate that needed 5 tablespoons of sugar to make it somewhat sippable, Despite that we ended up throwing it out anyways. Would've been nice to have been offered something else. Atmosphere really cool, we must've just caught them on an off day. Coffee was too good to not go back though."

"Visited during the Stampede twice. The food and drinks were both good. The staff was excellent. Daily/weekly specials are good and the half order of nachos were perfect for two. The full order is huge. Liked that it was not a zoo like other bars during the Stampede."

"Yum! This satisfied my pho craving. Staff let me try both broths before choosing one which was really nice. Broth was flavourful, noodles fresh, and meat solid. Interior is a little drab though."

"Deagla has made a Repeat Customer out of me. I've been to Deagla four or five times the past two years and in general I enjoy it each time. One of the times in a group of nearly 30 people, other times with only 2 or 3 others. Because I am not a fan of very dry shawarma, I tend to order the no. 9 or 10, with a skewer of beef and chicken, and ask for both to be lightly cooked since I do not like my meat dry. The shisha here is also nice, although I would say the Shisha at Aladdin's is better. I will support this restaurant whenever I am in the area, and encourage you to try their food as it is reasonably priced and it is a laid back and simple dining place."
