My husband and I were craving for sushi for quite some time. We decided to try Kanpai Shushi for the proximity to our home. We ordered miso soups and few sushi rolls. The soup was delicious and the sushi rolls were so fresh. Our server Sharon was very nice and friendly, gave us the best service during our lunch. The restaurant was very clean and well organized. What User doesn't like about Kanpai Sushi On 8th:
Disappointed. The only good thing was the afternoon sunshine coming in through the windows and seaweed salad which I'm pretty sure was pre made like in most sushi places (looked and tasted exactly the same . Sashimi was clearly defrosted and faint in color, sad looking, bland tasting. Maki rolls had way too much rice around than the ingredients in the middle. View all feedback.
This could have been a 4-star review buy the rolls are thick with rice (filler) instead of packed with seafood/veggies. This docks a star. Otherwise all dishes...
