Western Coffee Shop & Chinese Food

This review is solely based on customer service and not the food. I had gone into this business yesterday, after working snow removal in -30 weather I had locked myself out of my van and wanted to grab a coffee and possibly lunch, while I waited for my husband to bring my spare keys. When I first walked in I had asked the lady working if I could use the washroom to which she immediately started berating me and going off about how everyone just uses there washroom. I understand that can be frustrating for a business, but I had the intent to stay for a lunch after using the washroom. With the amount of berating, I wasn't even able to say I would like to order something after using the washroom. I had left and stayed warm in Pawsitivly Pets to which I was treated very kindly and compassionately. I will not ever being spending my money at Western Coffee.

Unfortunately not even doing a review on the food, it never got that far.An individual came in from outside -30°c to have a lunch and to use the washroom.Asked a female server where the washroom is located. Immediately the server started verbally slamming this individual...While this business may have concerns and issues with the homeless, to assume someone is homeless is uncalled for.I shall never support this business again, it was totally uncalled for.SHAME, SHAME, SHAMR

Delicious and fresh food. The owner is very nice and her daughter makes the cutest paintings. Our go to is the Chow Mein yum! Delicious

ROAST to Western Coffee Shop in mission. Yesterday after doing snow removal in -30 I had locked myself out of my van nearby, so I walked in with the hopes to use the washroom and grab a coffee/lunch while I waited for him to bring my spare set. When I had asked to use the washroom the lady working just started berating me, and shouting at me about people using there washroom, I wasn't even able to get a word in and say I would like to stay for lunch after using the washroom. I was very shocked as I've never been treated that way upon entering a business. I truly believe she thought I was homeless due to my work clothes. (Tore up car hart's and oversized plaid jacket) This experience made my heart ache for those without homes and who put up with being treated this way on the daily. But a massive TOAST to pawsitively pets as they let me stay warm inside while I waited for my husband to bring my spare set, they were very kind and compassionate.

Had the spicy ginger beef fried rice. Ginger beef was perfectly crispy while quite flavorful. Not a huge fan of when it's too soggy and loses it's texture, so would recommend it. Large portions good value
