I cannot recommend XS cafe highly enough. Tucked away in Prazeres, it serves the most delightful coffee and cakes. The ladies who served me were lovely and very friendly. There’s plenty of free parking around the cafe with seats outside and inside. Excellent coffee (we had a latte and an americano) and the apple pie was simply delicious! Super friendly service, too. Definitely a recommendation!
The coffee here is so good, and the milk is done so well it rivals the good stuff you get in places like Melbourne Australia. Also the toasties are delicious. Really can’t recommend it enough and it’s all reasonably priced
This is a great lovely café in front of the church. The best drink on the menu is the hot cider in my opinion. It's locally produced next door and tastes great.
To find a specialty coffee on Madeira is not so easy. We were surprised that in a small village they brew excellent coffee. Cakes are delicious too. Definitely recommend.
