"We had sat on a table on a competitive straight over the street for minutes without taking as much as a drink order. we went, sad of the experience and hopefully asked if it was space for two in venice. within minutes. from our warm welcome, we had received our drinks, ordered the main thing and the minute mark, we enjoyed the net. a few drinks and a wonderful desert and we had enjoyed a delightful experience. good, honest and friendly service. Thank you!"

"What a terrible experience eating here. We were seated at our table, which smelt like vomit had mould all over the table. I had our 2 year old daughter sitting down touching the table which had the black mould. We notified the staff to let them know, and the response was a heavy soapy dirty sponge to wipe it down, which did not get rid of the smell or mould. Not once did a staff member come over to see how we were going. The food took 20-30 minutes which we could no longer sit at the table as the smell was unbearable! We asked for takeaway, waiting another 5-10 minutes. Asked us why we wanted takeaway and explained again that the table smelt like vomit and had mould all over the table and they just made jokes about it as if that was our problem. The service and the way of dealing with customers concerns is shocking. Having black mould on tables is a serious health concern, and if I were you, I would take that seriously. Not in a joking matter. If there’s an option for 0 stars, that’s what I would give."

"Had a disappointing coffee at another cafe in the area and decided to walk to the beach and found this lovely cafe. Owner couldn’t be more helpful when I asked if we could just get takeaway fish and chips to eat on the beach. He offered us the most delicious fresh mackerel and chips made with the cleanest oil. Owner and staff extremely competent and friendly. He even offered us a bench table even though place was packed. Also a tap and sink at entrance to wash hands and ample hand sanitiser everywhere. Can’t wait to go back for a sit down meal"
