"It is Paczki time and Hi-Way Bakery is the place to be! Hi-Way Bakery offers a variety of delicious pastries all year round. However, business spikes near Fat Tuesday. Best bakery and prices round."

"This is the 2. Once I get to the egg hut, my daughter loves the cream of chicken and rice soup. I had the 2, 2nd cook to perfection. Great staff and prices."

"I love this place. Pizza and burger place. Try to ignore the rest unless you need a salad. The skinny fries are on the exceptional side. Good bottomless coffee. Carve your name into a table. I’ve been frequenting this place for 50+ years. We had a grumpy server this time."

"Everything uniformly excellent with one annoying exception. The dinner bread brought at the start of the meal tasted like it came from a mediocre supermarket. Management, if you are listening, please serve warm/hot fresh-baked bread like many of you competitors do. Other than that, highly recommended. Very busy on a saturday night, suggest making a reservation well in advance."

"Something completely different but outstanding good The Calumet Fisheries Chicago is one of the often recommended culinary adventures around Chicago and even James Beard Awarded. It’s a little shop, established 1928, no place to dine inside, mostly fish on the menu and mostly smoked and fried. You grab your food and eat it hot in your car. Or you visit the closeby bridge which was featured in the original Blues Brother Movie, and eat it there. The offered food is amazing. It's so good that the Fisheries even got its own Wikipedia entry. You can already smell the smoke when walking up to the store, and this wonderful aroma also makes the fish so tasty. Enjoy this special way to eat fish while you are in the area!"
