One of the best breakfast deals in Calvi baguette, jam, croissant, orange juice, coffee, fried egg and huge slice of ham for 7 euros. Everything tasty and nicely served. View all feedback.
What Harry760 doesn't like about A La Pasturelle:
The waitress are friendly enough but the food is terrible. We refused to pay for one of the meals and the waitress was good enough to take it off the bill without arguing about it but certainly not somewhere we would go again. View all feedback.
Despite our very late arrival for lunch, we were well received. quality meat and very good desserts.
Without praise and without infamy, the prices lined on the average you can also take breakfast in the morning if you wish. discreet pink

You will be made welcome at this place. Look out for the Pietra beer signage when you approach. Service is good, fast and friendly. Most tables are in the airy extension/patio, but you can sit outside if you wish. The atmosphere is laid back and informal. A little knowledge of French comes in handy. The menu is unpretentious, the food well-presented and perfectly cooked with generous helpings. I usually chose the Plat du Jour as I found that one course was sufficient for me, especially at night. On one occasion I tried the Triolet , which was a plate of three different fish, one of which was St. Pierre which we know as John Dory . Another day it was veal. Two beers are often available on draught keg from the local Pietra Brewery, Blonde or Ambre, the former a thirst-quenching pale ale and the latter a distinctive, punchier amber ale brewed with malt and chestnut flour, though you might not realise it. An excellent nightcap! Other beverages are available. It is ideally located if you are staying at Les Castors or Hotel les Arbousiers, as they are just round the corner and the station halt Calvi Talle is a three minute walk away. If you are arriving by train, ask the driver/conductor to drop you off there! My only disappointment was that it closed at 10 pm.
Brasserie – nice ambiance for an evening coffee and digestif after a disappointing meal across the road.
