"A great bistro serving excellent Corsican fare. Depending on the weather you can either sit out on the balcony overlooking the harbor, inside or out on the sidewalk terrace. We chose the latter due to the heat and sun at lunchtime. We chose the larger...fixed menu and were very pleased with the dishes...quite excellent and the quantities were surprising (for Europe). Service was efficient but initially aloof until we warmed up our waitress with our French Canadian charm. Very pleased with our choice, wish we could have gone back for dinner."

"Very pleasant visit to this establishment. Very nice boss and waitress and very good kitchen. Local dishes, fresh and especially homemade! Clean toilets and the restaurant is in good condition. Prices are high but reflect the good quality of food!"

"The calvi citadel offers a pleasant place to enjoy an ice other than the sempiteral and industrial Italian vanilla-fresco ice. a schola is located right in front of the cathedral. You must avoid visiting the places with the pot or the picket in your hands.Pearing the reception and very impersonal service of this glacier, you must focus on the sorbets and ice proposed. Everything is crafty. there are the flavours of corse ( citrus, fig, etc.). I chose two flavors: pistachio and fig. between a pistachio ball with pieces and an exquisite fig ball, I found the product very convincing. My wife also enjoyed her pot composed of a fig ball and a bloody orange ball.Beside this, we ordered a homemade iced tea that turned out to be very little sweet. Moreover, it was beautifully presented in a bock with an aluminium cover and a straw in the middle.To taste the products, it is possible to sit in front of the cathedral or in the room facing the sea. We had it for euros, the price is reasonable. Of course, I recommend this address."

"We ate here in June The restaurant overlooks the beach and the view is stunning. However, apart from one other table of sitting on the deck, the restsurant was empty from when we arrived until we left at about pm. In comparison...the restaurants at this time of the evening on the port are busy. We ordered pizzas, no starters desserts or coffee, and two small beers each. The pizzas were ok but not as special as the previous reviewer experienced. The bill came to about which was expensive. There was no fixed price menu as there is in the town and on the port, and i think this is a mistake. While we realise that beachfront restaurants will charge a premium, I think it is likely that the prices are putting people off. Most of the beachfront restaurants seem to be charging over the odds, and few were occupied that evening. By contrast the port, a few hundred yards further on, was buzzing. Managers and potential clients take note, you can eat cheaper and as well on the port, with great views and atmosphere."

"A perfect evening with delicious food and warm service. It's a lot better than most beachside restaurants with excellent food and lovely people. The BBQ was a treat and the vegetarian option for my wife was a hit. Would highly recommend and the beach is lovely too."
