What mbs12453 doesn't like about Al Casbah:
Dishonest restaurant!! How reliable are restaurants when they say their vegan options are vegan? I asked for the vegan options when I came here a few weeks ago, and had the hummus with bread. Noticed the bread having a strong meat smell and saw that it was being toasted on the same grill as the meat. Asked the waiter and he said, well, the juices from the meat drip down so it doesn't really combine with the bread so... View all feedback. What Aiden Young likes about Al Casbah:

read moreLocated along Mill Road in Cambridge, this restaurant has garnered mixed reviews from patrons. Some have warned against dining here if you have dietary restrictions, as they had negative experiences with ordering vegetarian or vegan options. One reviewer found that the restaurant's claim of serving vegan options was unreliable, as they detected meat smells on their supposedly vegan dish. On the other hand, other visitors had positive experiences, praising the delicious food, unique ambiance, and friendly service. With open charcoal grills in sight, diners can enjoy freshly cooked grilled dishes and a great selection of tea. The meze starter is highly recommended, while some found the main dishes to be lacking in meat. Despite occasional service hiccups, overall, this restaurant offers exceptional food and an enjoyable dining experience worth returning for.
