Highly recommend for parties!. Best work-related dinner party ever been to was at Il Fornello, just before Easter. Lovely food and plenty of it! Very attentive and welcoming staff. All my colleagues were delighted with their meals. Basically, everything was cooked to perfection. The ambience was spot on. Worst Italian food I've ever eaten in this dark, narrow space. The so-called eggplant parmesan arrived swimming in what looked like a can of tomato sauce, with squiggles of cheese floating around. The cheese was partially melted but not enough to provide a nice cheese crust.
