Maybe I chose the wrong thing on the menu, but the chicken and mushroom cake I got for £12 was a bit ripped off. it wasn't even a short bake, it was a ceramic dish floor and came served with cauliflower, and that's it. not sure how the price was justified, but the pub is generally quite pleasant, especially in view of the condition of the kentish town high street close.
