My wife and I recently dined at Camden Maharani and enjoyed a meal of high quality at a reasonable price. The restaurant is conveniently located on Camden High Street. We saved over 30 pounds between us and had a wonderful time. The staff were friendly and made the experience enjoyable. I highly recommend Camden Maharani. What User doesn't like about Maharani:
the service was terrible. rude and slow are the only polite words I can think of now. if they have plans in the evening, they will not take care of the mararani. it takes all night to get drinks, let alone a meal. eating is not bad, but there are many Indian restaurants where eating is good and the service is much better. What a great surprise this was! Our friend booked this randomly for a group of friends. Dinner was so delicious and you could tell it was made fresh. Service was great too and beautiful interior design. Hope to go back soon!
Came here on a Friday night with 4 friends. We were the only table in the place. The food was nice but there was zero atmosphere. When paying our bill we were met with a £22 mandatory service charge as well as paying for over priced bottles of beer. I thought this was incredibly crafty as it was never mentioned anywhere prior to booking the restaurant or prior to ordering. Very disappointing.
