Taste-wise, really solid pizza. Better than your average maine pizza. It has turned into a rare splurge for us though, as good as it is for your standard takeout pizza, 2 large (2 three topping pies) was almost 60$ and the larges are not 16” as advertised and the toppings are sparse. What Markus Nagel doesn't like about Camden House Of Pizza:
Based on the reviews I thought this might be a hidden gem. Unfortunately, it was exactly what it looked from the outside; a cheap takeaway place with mediocre pizzas. View all feedback.
Salad was ok kinda pricey sub was good ..pizza very over priced for a pepperoni and honestly not to my standards might go back for the sub but I wouldn't go out of my way ...
The dough was very dry. There was maybe 10 pepperoni on the whole large pizza. Do yourself a favor and drive in to rockland and grab pizza hut or dominos.
Pizza sauce was a little too sweet, the crust was firm but not too tasty , the cheese was too flavorful. 5 out of 10
If you are reading this and you enjoy eating pizza please do not eat pizza here. The 10” pizza might fill up a family of mice. I haven’t tried the Alfredo but I’m assuming John Travolta wouldn’t recommend it either. If you are hungry go outside and eat grass. It will taste better. Over priced as well. Good luck.
Such lovely people! An extensive menu of everyday favourites, but the pizza here is the best for miles around. So many delicious options! What makes it even better is the brilliant service whether you eat in or take away. It’s become our family go-to for those nights when we just fancy a night off of cooking or want something wholesome and satisfying to fill our hungry tummies! Thank you, Camden HofP! Keep up the great work Parking: Busy in the summer (like the rest of Camden! but ample on- and off-street options adjacent to the restaurant
