"Finally, Michaels Steak Chalet was recommended after several years by several people. It was amazing! We arrived early for our reservations and went to the bar for a drink. The bartender was knowledgeable and friendly. The view from the bar was wonderful. We sat for dinner at a corner table with large windows showing the lake of Ozarks. Our appetizers were delicious as well as our salads, main course and dessert. Our food was prepared as ordered and was above our expectations. Our server was attentive and yet not intrusive. We'll be back soon."

"We have been coming here since they first opened. It is a great place to visit at the lake. They have really done a nice job with the place. It is a sand beach for the family, and plenty of games and things to do. The food is typical lake food with a twist. Their BLT is Bacon, Lobster and Tomato. We like the Davy Jones Pizza which is a seafood pizza and white sauce. Their salads were a nice surprise for us. We were trying to find healthier options, and this can be trickier at the lake. The salads were good, and the way they present them is a few steps up than most places on the lake. In addition to the nice location to visit, they are big supporters of the lake including the annual Shoot Out. The worst problem is that they are fairly popular and it can be either difficult to get in or a longer wait especially during busier times."
