Best hotel and restaurant. Worth staying here vs in the park. Our room was clean and comfy! The people here are super friendly and everything supports local! The restaurant overlooks the canyon and it is yummy with tons of food options. I would make this a place to stop and enjoy! View all feedback.
What Audra Wu doesn't like about Cameron Trading Post:
Fine food, big portion sizes, probably as good as it gets given the location. The dining area is super large and it?s fun to walk through the store (make sure to wear masks, they also provide at entrance). Ordered a burger (ok but not memorable). We also got a cheesy garlic pull apart bread appetizer which was way bigger than expected and the quality of ingredients tasted just so-so. Quick and friendly service, proba... View all feedback.
I stopped by the trading post here on my way home 3 months ago. I was looking for some beautiful jewelry and I absolutely found it, along with great help. The man behind the counter (Alan, I think) was the sweetest, most helpful man I came across on my trip. I wasn't quite ready for how high quality turquoise was and he was very generous with his time and patience to help me find some beautiful pieces. I love these 2 bracelets I got and wear them as often as I can. And everyone comments on their beauty. I highly recommend this store to anyone on a trip through the Grand Canyon. They had so much, and were so helpful and nice, when I'm sure many tourists don't make it easy. Thank you all very much!
A really amazing selection of handmade crafts and jewellery. The staff are really helpful and informative, sharing information about all the objects in stock. Particularly enlightening was the in-store rug weaver, who told us about the traditional process of weaving blankets, and the significance of different designs from different regions and tribal groups. Excellent shop, run by local community. Far from the kind of inauthentic ?wild west? tourist traps that can be so common in the southwest.
The food is decent and staff very friendly. The intern entrance guard at the shop was nice and offered masks to anyone who didn?t have one (I had a beat up used mask and was offered one that wasn?t ripped and dirty). Then twenty minutes later his boss came in and all she cared about was bossing tourists around. I?d come back for the polite food service, not so much for the food though.

Beautiful trading post! Lots of very fine jewelry, blankets and rugs. Too much to talk about I love their sand paintings. The dining room is exquisite with rugs and beautiful western art on all the walls. It is an amazing oasis in the middle of the desert. If you miss this you will regret it. Come in and see. Everyone is so congenial and helpful. Very quick to service our table and to help us at the register. Stop on your trip to North Rim of the Grand Canyon, you won?t regret it!
