Findleton's Winery is a cool place for all ages. Tom, winemaker, does a tremendous job of planning his musical additions to his great wine tasting. What Thomas h doesn't like about Findleton Pub:
Yikes. Very expensive for poor quality food. $12 for two small tacos with next to no chicken. You could find cheaper tacos in Manhattan. They did seem to have a good beer variety. I'd stick to that if I were to go again, which I don't plan to do. View all feedback.

This place was honestly very disappointing. After driving past them many times wanting to try them I finally came in when I wanted a local el dorado sparkling wine to give to a friend... well you won't find those here. All the wines are imported and taxed heavily for doing so. But my bigger complaint... expensive tastes with NO comp for bottle purchase?! So after running in with my wife for the worlds shortest 3 wine tasting I picked a bottle (that was not worth the 34$ quoted)and then (and only then) were told that we also had to pay $16 more for tastings!!! This is el dorado county, not Napa, around here people comp tastings and are generally less stingy than that. And at about 3$/oz I really feel like I was almost taken advantage of. Never would I have paid 56$ for a underwhelming bottle of sparkling wine that looks like a 7 yr old designed the label. So long story short I will not be back nor endorse it to anyone. If this sounds like I'm being unreasonable then you probably come from a nicer wine area and can try it for yourself but it should be known before you go what you are in for. 2 stars is only because the woman working was very nice.
This place is a recommended stop while doing a wine tasting tour or bar hop. Friendly staff and cozy atmosphere goes well here for an intimate gathering or romantic date. They offer local handcrafted beers, wines, ciders and other beverages. The food menu has a nice selection of delicious sounding comfort foods, snacks and appetizers. We couldn't resist checking them out during my wine tasting birthday tour by having a few beers and sharing a combination appetizer plate. Each choice from the menu is $6.00. Joe K and my brother-in-law are the beer drinkers of the family while my sister and I are the shoppers, as we ducked into the connecting, adjacent boutique to browse and gaze at all the hand made items, clothing, artwork and jewelry. This pub and winery knows how to make a patron feel welcome and appreciated! They were the only ones who wished me a happy birthday!
Findleton Pub is the perfect place to go if you're looking to try local beers and ciders all in one place with memorable staff and a warm family feel. The food is delicious too! A rustic barn-house feel gives an old fashioned vibe that allows you to step out of your busy day for a good ol' fashion drink and burger. The place to go if you want good beer, delicious food and better company
