"What a disappointment thick dust on the windowsills, a huge spiderweb in the bottom corner of the window we were sitting at. My lamb was flavourless and cold in places (I suspect that it was heated in a microwave how else can you serve lamb in 5 10 minutes? . Worst of all were the countless fruit flies I spent more time swatting them away than I did eating or drinking. We had looked forward to eating there for quite some time one and done."

"This was the one of the best places in town, and every time I come to Campbell River I dine here. I even skip lunch so I can enjoy every bite and order multiple items. My first bad experience, Scallop Appetizer bland zero flavor, Mussels and Scallops Appetizer bland no flavor. Mushroom Wellington the mushrooms' and nuts was bland and the puff pastry was inedible as it was mushy and not cooked. I ate the vegies and the inside of one of the wellingtons couldn't eat the other. Seafood Linguini my wife had and it was the only item that was ok. In parting they gave us a desert as an apology but it too was undercooked and hadn't even set so we couldn't eat it either. We found out later as we were leaving that the normal chef has left the Sous Chef is away on personal matters. Feel bad for whoever is filling in and the staff there were pleasant just the food is no longer any good.Very disappointing as we have been there over a dozen times and normally want to lick the plates clean. Unfortunately we will have to find a new place to go.Looks like the have acknowledged their mistake and have given us a voucher to return, a step in the right direction so changing my rating if the meal is as good as it was when we used to go I will change the rating again."

"Every single dish in the buffet was absolutely delicious! We moved from Victoria where we had fallen in love with Indian food and thought we would never find food so good, but we were wrong! So thankful we have a restaurant as good as Royal Zayka here in Campbell River!"

"Had lunch and drinks here this afternoon. Great food and good drinks selection. Sat outside in the sunshine. Maddie was our waitron, she was brilliant, was round all the time to check if we were ok . An infectious laugh and personality. Loved our few...hours there, was happy hour as well !"
