After 3 days of traveling to get to our destination (with a bit of a drive to go) we were needing a solid meal (camping travel) and stopped in to Ricky's in Campbell River. We enjoyed the food and the waitresses were very pleasant. The restaurant was clean and service was prompt. read more.

The premises on site are wheelchair accessible and can also be used with a wheelchair or physiological disabilities, Depending on the weather, you can also sit outside and be served.

What User doesn't like about Ricky's Restaurant:
Used to like their clubhouse & tomato basil soup - haven't been there in a few years so went back a couple of days ago. Ordered the soup & half club sandwich & my husband the club & fries. Waited well over half an hour and the place wasn't all that busy. We both found the sandwich to be dry & fairly tasteless and the tomato soup was a lot stronger tasting than I remembered. "Very good place for breakfast. The food is quite good, I wouldn’t read it as excellent but it was definitely good. The restaurant itself lacks atmosphere, but is clean and well organized. The best thing about the sunny day café is the staff. They are amazing! For that reason, alone, we will be back again."

"Make no mistake, this is a truck stop; license plates and old photographs on the walls. Don't be put off by the outside appearance. Great staff, prompt service, great food. If you're hungry and in the area, GO. You won't regret it.The bar opens at 9 am, but there is a separate family section."
