"I first reviewed this gem in 2014. So I thought an update was worthwhile. I must say its not often you get to write two reviews 5 years apart but my interest in this place has not waned. Well it's still all about the coffee and it is still the best in town. And the love and passion for the beverage comes out in everything they do. Since the extension a couple of years ago there have been some steady changes for the better. In my last review I said the food was almost non existent. Bit by bit that is no longer the case. The food offering is still basic but delicious but now there is enough of it that I can happily come for breakfast or lunch and enjoy it. The other difference is that with a bit more space I now often come mid morning and get my laptop out and get a bit of work done in a really nice environment with a great coffee. In the end its still all about the coffee and its still great over the entire 5 years since my first review."

"We dropped in lodge on Thursday night. it was easy to book online and we could even order our food and drinks directly from the table via our mobile phones. we ordered the halloumi fries, veggies sticky pig bell. the black bell was amazing and the rest was really good. the only problem that we had was when we asked the waitress not to delete our table (we only dig out on a fast zigarette.) that was all in order, but when we came back to our eating was clear, and other people had already set up on our stand - that was annoying because we were only finished half our meal times and there were many others so much free! they have reimbursed us a meal to give one dessert. the desserts were beautiful. simple toy up, but still quite annoying. I think we're gonna go back because it was pretty good to eat, and the waitress was nice to us, even if she got up. shit happens, I think lol"

"What a magnificent feast! This has got to be one of the best restaurants in Adelaide. The dishes are bursting with flavour, extremely generous in size and 5 star quality. The atmosphere is warm and inviting. It is family run and the chef came out to chat to us and made us feel so welcome. I cannot recommend this venue enough. You will be missing out on something truly special if you don’t go."

"We ordered home delivery through Menulog and the pizza arrived steaming hot and on time. Friendly delivery man too. The pizza had loads of topping and good taste. There were a few minor issues which I have fed back privately to Oasis and they have said that they will look into. I will try them again."

"Good gelati, but disorganised. Great gelati but it's chaos when it's busy. There's no clear line or system to make sure people are served in order and many of the staff don't seem well trained in customer service. I'll keep going back (I've really missed having great gelati in norwood since cibo/pistachio closed a couple of years ago) but I really hope they sort out their serving issues. There are a lot of interesting flavours which I enjoy trying, and a good chocolate sorbet which is my favourite."
