We had nice dinner with wine pairing in the winery of Angelo d'Uva in Larino. Delicious courses paired with wines from the winery. Excellent local olive oil and wines, also grappa. Would recommend have the same meeting with wine degustation.
Located among the rolling hills and small towns of Molise,we dined at the agroturismo called ' I Dolci Grappoli 'twice in the past 2 years. Both occasions we enjoyed fine wine, excellent service and food.In 2016 we requested that they prepare for us a memorable supper for 10; as we were celebrating a special occasion. they went out of their way to accommodate us. they served many local delicacies, the "trecce "cheese from Santa Croce was exceptional. The entire meal was exceptional leaving us with a memorable experience enjoyed by our entire group. They are also renowned for their wine -having won many prizes worldwide. They give us a tour of their winery ,where one can purchase their exceptional wines. Many thanks to the owners and staff for their hospitality.
Nice structure but not very nice people. Also, prices are relatively high for Molise. Simply misses the right touch, so easily found in other places
We booked the wine route with a full degotation at dinner. Mrs. Enrica welcomed us with great courtesy and guided us on a wonderful journey over time. first the visit in the vineyard, with a taste of the bunches of tintilia, of which we have been told with passion and expertise the history. then the winery, the methods of winemaking and refinement, all exposed with sympathy and competence. a pleasure to listen. the degotation, very rich and combined with typical dishes of the Molisana traditions such as pizza and soup, ventricina and pampanella, has gone beyond our expectations. excellent, in particular, the Montepulciano, the tintilia and the passito. warmly recommended.
