Excellent cocktails, views and scones. The hotel bar on 6th floor of The Silo is super. Beautiful setting with a view of Table Mountain. Staff were friendly and helpful. We had the scones which were freshly baked; we’d wondered what had happened to our order but then these beautiful fresh, warm mini scones arrived with generous helpings of jam, butter, whipped cream (and grated cheese in case you wanted to go savoury... Stunning setup, beautiful views especially for sunset. Definitely recommend making a reservation. The marinated tuna tacos were divine! Each of them is the perfect bite. Cheese board was nice, but nothing too impressive. Missed some crackers/ bread and a chutney or some nuts on the side. Love the cocktail. Also beautifully served in the glas Would always come back
Beautiful surroundings, architecture and showcased African art. We secured a booking for the bar a few days in advance with ease. It was a Monday lunch time and so, not being too busy, we were offered a window bar seat or a standard table. We took the former, which offered views across the harbour towards Green Point Park and the stadium. The beef steak was delicious and the waitress was excellent, however I couldn’t substitute the green peppercorn sauce for chimmichurri or even a simple mustard: the best offer that came back from the kitchen was to ‘remove the peppercorns’. A minor point, but a bit of a shame. That said, we really enjoyed our lunch and it has to be said that the bar stools were THE most comfortable I’d ever sat on, with space for your feet against the grey steel window frames.
Stunning bar in the most beautiful hotel. Gorgeous food and drinks and fabulous service. 10/10
What a stunning place!! It is gorgeous and has an exceptional view. It is clean. Luvuyo and the team made my first visit extra special and felt like royalty : The service was quite great, the meal was tasty and everything in between was perfect. Worth the dime and multiple visits!
A gorgeous bar with a beautiful view on signal Hill, lions’ head and table Mountain. The food tapas like) was quite good. Our only deception was the wine. We tried a kaapzicht from Stellenbosh. For that price ~80 euros) we expected a bit more from that wine.
