"We had the pleasure of having dinner at the alma boathouse on October 15th, 2022. we visited the fleet launch festival and were most at the community center. a short walk and we were immersed on fish chips, praised Mac...n cheese and poutine. great service, huge fish portions and wonderful eating. b sure, eat there!"

"This is one of my favourite places to eat in Alma. The food is excellent and the atmosphere is relaxed. In my experience the service has always been great. The prices are definitely reasonable for the quality of the food. In the off and shoulder seasons, check before you go to be sure they're open as they have different hours I believe during the slower months. Dietary restrictions: I travel with a friend who has lots of dietary restrictions and they have always been super accommodating, finding a dish that she can eat and enjoy! I also believe that they have gluten free options, but I'm not 100% sure. Service: Dine in Meal type: Dinner Price per person: $20–30"

"My husband had the Vegan Bowl, which is gluten free. It had brown rice, black beans, sweet potatoes, greens, corn, a half an avocado, and more. I had a hearty Asian noodle soup which was vegan, and can be made gluten free with a buckwheat noodle option. It was good, but would have been better with more vegetables in it. They also serve great kombucha, and have a vegan gluten free dessert--a rich chia pudding which we heard is great, but didn't try ourselves. The waitress was super knowledgeable, and very helpful. The chef here is committed to local sourcing and minimally processed food. If you have gluten sensitive people in your group, know that all their pasta dishes are available in GF options. "The food was excellent. I had a gluten free lobster roll, my husband had the lobster poutine, and we shared the gluten free fundy scallops and haddock with fries. We've eaten at two other restaurants in Alma, NB this week. The food was by far the most delicious, and the lobster was the most reasonably priced at the Alma Lobster Shop."

"Loved that we could see the harbour front and the hummingbird feeders at each window was a fun watch as they came to feed. While the prices were slightly steep,.they were what we expected for a small fishing village. The quality of the food was wonderful as well as the staff. Lots of options aside from seafood."
